Notice on the Updated Requirements for the Health Code Applications for All China-bound Passengers

In view of the global pandemic situation of COVID-19, the requirements for a green Health Code with “HS” mark or a green Health Declaration Certificate with “HDC” mark for China-bound passengers from Nigeria are updated as follows:

1. From January 10th, 2022, there is no need for the passengers fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine to take the IgM and IgG antibody test.

2. From January 28th, 2022, the A-Medik Molecular Laboratory (Address: P40 Mike Akhigbe Way Jabi, Abuja, Contact: Mrs Uchechukwu Ibekwe 08036322900, Email: a.medikdiagnostic@gmail.com) has been added as one of the designated COVID-19 testing institutions under the Consular Districts of the Embassy of China in Nigeria. 

Passengers departing from Nigeria are required to take three Covid-19 nucleic acid tests before boarding. The first nucleic acid test is required 7 days prior to the date of departure from Nigeria. For example, if the departure is on a Tuesday, the test needs to be taken on the Tuesday of the previous week. The second and third tests should be taken within 48 hours before boarding. The three above mentioned Covid-19 nucleic acid tests should be taken in three different designated COVID-19 testing institutions, and the test in the A-Medik Molecular Laboratory should be taken within 48 hours before boarding.

Other requirements for the the Health Code applications remain the same as before.
