The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Federal Republic of Nigeria will implement China Online Visa Application (COVA) since July, 1st, 2018.

All the Chinese visa applicants (Hong Kong and Macau visa excluded) are required to complete the Chinese Online Visa Application form (website: https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn ), print and sign the Confirmation Page and the completed COVA form.

l Regular passport holders are obliged to complete the visa application form online and make appointment through the “Online Form Filling” and “Online Appointment” module of the new website in advance. After completing the online application form, the applicant should print out and sign it, and bring together with other related visa application documents to China Visa Application Center at the scheduled time to make appointment for interview. (working time: 09:00-16:00 Mon. to Fri. )

l Diplomatic and Official passport holders are obliged to complete the visa application form online, print out and sign it, and bring together with other related visa application materials to the Consular Section of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China for visa application (working time: 15:30-17:00 Tue. & Thu.)

From Jul. 1st to 31st, 2018, the old visa application will still be accepted in China Visa Center, and China Embassy. But, since Aug. 1st, 2018, only Chinese Online Visa Application form is accepted by the Embassy and China Visa Center.
