On September 18, 2015 China-Nigeria Ceramics Art and Culture Exhibition opened in the China Cultural Center (CCC), Nigeria.
H.E. the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria Mr. Gu Xiaojie, the Cultural Counselor, the director of the CCC Mr. Yan Xiangdong, the Permanent Secretary of Nigeria’s Ministry of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation,Madame Nkechi Ejele, were among dignitaries and others who attended the opening ceremony.
The opening ceremony was held on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Establishment of China-Nigeria Strategic Partnership, as well as the 2nd anniversary of the CCC’s establishment.
The exhibition, which will last for two weeks, contains more than 500 pieces of contemporary ceramic works, including the tablewares supplied at the state banquet of the 2014 APEC Summit held in Beijing.
