On October 29, 2024, Ambassador Yu Dunhai attended the inauguration ceremony of the 13th 'Chinese corner' and delivered remarks at the 'Ni Hao! China' Painting Competition Awards Ceremony.

Ambassador Yu stated that through joint efforts, the 'Chinese corner' has become a vital platform for Nigerian youth to experience Chinese culture, fostering mutual learning and stronger people-to-people bonds between the two countries. China stand ready to work with Nigeria to further leverage the 'Chinese corner' as a bridge, cultivating more inheritors of China-Nigeria friendship.

Nigerian education officials, including Mr. Mohammed Abdullahi, Director of the Federal Capital Territory Secondary Education Board, expressed gratitude to the Chinese Embassy for its long-standing support. The 'Chinese corner' has served as a key window for students to learn about China and the world. Nigeria hoped to strengthen collaboration with the Embassy to expand this initiative, benefiting more Nigerian youth.
