On September 16, 2025, the inauguration ceremony of the 14th "Chinese Corner" was held at Government Secondary School Tudun Wada, Abuja. Mr. Yang Jianxing, Counselor for Cultural Affairs of the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria, Mr. Jiang Junjie, Deputy Managing Director of CCECC Nigeria Ltd., Dr. Danlami Hayyo, Secretary for Education of the FCT, and Dr. Muhammed Sani Ladan, Director of the Second Education Board of the FCT, attended the event.

In his speech, Yang Jianxing stated that the "Chinese Corner" – a platform for cultural and educational exchanges jointly established by the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria and the Secondary Education Board FCT in 2013 – has increasingly become a bond connecting Chinese and Nigerian cultures and a bridge narrowing the distance between the young people of the two countries. He added that Chinese diplomatic missions in Nigeria will continue to support cooperation between China and Nigeria in various fields such as people-to-people exchanges and education, and keep advancing the building of a closer China-Africa and China-Nigeria community with a shared future.

Ladan and Hayyo delivered speeches in sequence, sincerely thanking the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria and CCECC Nigeria Ltd. for their efforts in establishing the "Chinese Corner". They expressed confidence that the "Chinese Corner" will create more opportunities for Nigerian students to learn about China, and inspire their enthusiasm for loving Chinese culture and promoting Nigeria-China friendship.
