Cultural Counsellor Mr. Li Xuda's Interview With Leadership Newspaper

On Oct 11, 2018, Mr. Li Xuda, Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, also Director of China Cultural Center in Nigeria (CCCN), was interviewed by Mr. Nelson from Leadership    Newspaper. During the interview, Counsellor Li Xuda talked about the cultural and educational exchanges and cooperation between China and Nigeria as well as how each country has befitted from that.

Counsellor Li Xuda noted that the Honourable Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Information and Culture Mrs. Dcns. Grace Isu Gekpe just headed a high-level cultural delegation to visit China this August, she signed with her Chinese counterpart "The Protocol of the Program on Implementation of Cultural and Educational Cooperation and Exchange Between China and Nigeria", which definitely laid a solid foundation for the future exchange and cooperation between two countries.

At the request, Counsellor Li recalled the just concluded "Tourism and Culture Talkshop" Co-organized by CCCN and Nigerian Youth Tourism Development Organisation, and gave his suggestions to push forward the tourism and cultural cooperation in the near future.

With regard to the cooperation in film industry, Counsellor Li stressed that China now becomes the world's largest film market, and Nigeria's film production ranked No. One in Africa, China's film market is open to Nigeria, so obviously there is great potential for two countries' cooperation in the film industry.
